90 x 90mm Cedar Post
Post made from knotty grade Western Red Cedar. Available in 4 lengths: 1.83m, 2.14, 2.44m and 3.05m
Our cedar posts are planed smooth on all faces and have eased (slightly rounded) edges giving them a pleasing profile. They have many uses including fencing, deck railing, trellis, pergolas etc.
Posts are graded with sounts. Occasional small natural and milling defects are also permitted within the grade.
If sinking cedar posts into the ground we recommend the application of a suitable preservative to prolong the life.
For best results use a PBS44A post base. This galvanised metal base is first set in concrete and the post is then screwed into it keeping it out of contact with the ground. The result is a rock solid post that will last for years and years.
