Unrivalled in beauty and build quality, our cedar trellis is constructed using premium clear grade Western Red Cedar. Each panel is assembled to the highest standards with strength and rigidity. Corrosion resistant aluminium staples are used to greatly increase the life of your trellis and prevent unsightly rust streaks. The crown of the staple is counter-sunk into the wood and the points of the staple are hidden from the face of the panel so that the warm tones of the cedar can take centre stage.
Diagonal privacy panels have a gap of approximately 45mm between the laths and have an overall thickness of 17mm.
The framed option has a 19 x 38mm cedar frame around all sides on both faces of the panel giving an overall thickness of 55mm. This provides additional rigidity and visual definition. If preferred the frame components can be ordered separately for self-assembly (some cutting may be required).
For the self assembly option, in addition to the trellis panel(s) you will need to order nailer strips and 50mm Trim Head screws (Stainless steel or Climatek coated).
If, for example you are framing a 1220 x 1830mm panel you will need 4 no. 1220mm nailer strips and 4 no. 1830mm nailer strips and approximately 20 no. trim head screws (the miminimum box quantity that we supply is 100).
An informed choice...
An important point to consider when buying trellis panels is the size of opening. A tighter weave provides greater privacy whereas a large weave may be required for some climbing plants and shrubs
We offer three sizes of cedar trellis in both diagonal and square patterns. These are available in standard and privacy variations. We keep large quantities in stock and are ready to supply you with the quality trellis you need for your project - large or small.
Our cedar trellis is also available framed. It can be used with cedar posts, finials rails and dividers to create a stunning trellis fence (as shown in thepicture above).
