Finish & Stain

NATURAL WEATHERING:

Because of the nature and quality of Western Red Cedar to withstand insect attack and other outdoor elements, Cedar does not necessarily require a finish to keep its structure over the years. Many people prefer to allow their cedar, whether it is a deck, fence or one of our Adirondack chairs, to age naturally without any finish. If Cedar is left completely natural, a silver-grey color will eventually become prominent in the wood, highlighted by darker streaks.

If, however you prefer your new deck, fence or chair to remain and keep that 'new' wood look and feel, then we highly recommend using one of our wood stains. Please follow one of the links below for further information on wood finishes and restoration products.
