When it comes to economical pressure treated decking, Barefoot is in a class of its own. It is dense with tight growth rings and offers excellent strength and stability.

Barefoot has a smooth surface rather than being grooved as most treated deck boards are in the UK. The main disadvantage of grooved or reeded deck boards is that they hold water and trap organic matter such as dead leaves whichx causes algea growth.

With its smooth profile and rounded edge Barefoot is aesthetically pleasing and as its name suggests, pleasant to walk on 'barefoot'. Water drains off quickly rather than becoming trapped in the grooves so it dries out faster too.
